I have failed countless times to update this blog, and I have a feeling no one really reads anymore. However, since this was where I started writing it always feels most comforting to return to write short bit about my life here
I was browsing today this article where a number of individuals had submitted pictures or scans of their teenage diaries. I have hardly graduated out of teenhood myself; once a very interesting character told me that you don't truly stop being a teen until you've passed 25 years of age. Sometimes not even then. Yet I can't help but look at (the now hidden) entries that used to chronicle my life in secondary school and then in junior college. I was a very different person then, and yet, not so.
As I write this now, I am waiting for myself to fall asleep, for the memories in my head to die down so I may just tumble into a nice dreamless sleep.
Yet sleep evades me, as it naturally does when you need to wake mere hours later for the most important task of school. It feels so new all over again, because people just come and go and come back again.
But enough of my rambling, I should really try to at least close my eyes and lay down, and hope that eventually sleep will take me.
To all those people who left my life, I miss you. You know who you are

ice hockey
past 2 days have been ok. yesterday i went to school for history and english. history was cool, chatted awhile with emma and set a time for the saturday out. we just listened to imatra's presentation on the civil war and then worked on the independance of finland. mannerheim and svinhufud and stuff like that. then anne was not in school for english cos she was in helsinki for some course so we just walked out of class haha. took it as a free period.
me and kati went for coffee at coffee house. then after that we went around town. went to H&M and also to BodyShop. i'm eyeing something there, its sooo nice. see whether i'll have time to buy it before i leave. we also looked around at Seppälä and then went home.
I got a letter yesterday! From Leena at Vehkataipale. and guess what, she sent ice hockey tics to the SM League. cool. my first ice hockey game.
the weather here is going bonkers. first they say that spring is coming because of the rain and relatively warm temperature (8 degrees Celsius) then yesterday it started to snow and it hasn't stopped since. doinks. weird.
today i skipped school since there was only english and anne was still in helsinki. also they had to do grammar and i don't have the grammar book. too bad i didn't go, Kati later told me that they didn't do anything either. In fact, they had watched Kill Bill during the period. since they can bring VCDs and DVDs to school and the fact that the tv and the VCD plater is not locked up like in prcs makes it possible.
so i just came back from the sauna, didn't really do much today either then slack at home and then slack in sauna. however i'm gonna have to meet Kati at the library at 7.30 pm which is in 2 hrs and 15 minutes time. why? well, i'm going to a disco.
yep, you heard it right. D-I-S-C-O. i didn't believe i would ever go to a disco too. but well, thats life for you. some K15 thing at the youth club next to the library. Kati's cousin is the DJ. haha. and besides, its free and there is a chaperone and i have a friend to go with. lala. kinda nervous though, i don't know how to dance. and i've never been to a disco. but oh well, as eric once told me, "there is a time to try everything".
till i return from the disco...
